Third generation restaurateurs, owners Scott & Lori Harlig bring 40 years
of successful hospitality experience to Amici Catering and Events.
Their partnership provides a depth of knowledge and talent well suited to the multifaceted aspects of catering. Dedicated to developing lasting relationships through their shared love and passion for great food, caterers Scott and Lori pride themselves on creating memorable experiences through unique, innovative presentations and exceptional service.
Chef Godinez
Chef & caterer Miguel Godinez has led the culinary department since the beginning. His talent, knowledge and creativity are the secret ingredients behind Amici. With 35 years of cooking excellence, he brings a fresh, authentic style to the dining table. His leadership and commitment to local sourcing and sustainability has earned Amici a platinum rating with the Phoenix Green Business program. Miguel is an incredible asset to the Amici team.

Timeline
2006: Amici Founded
The new Phoenix venture concentrates on providing our social and corporate event clients with delicious food and great customer service!
2009: Evolution
The menu incorporates more modern, health-conscious options and utilizes locally sourced vendors for inspired selections. The Phoenix & Sedona kitchen and staff are expanded to accommodate increased business.
2012: ACME Arrives
Amici Catering rolls out its enhanced drop off catering service, ACME - Amici Catering Made Easy - specializing in individual and family-packaged meals in response to the increased interest in take -out delivery.
2015: The Future Is Green
In cooperation with Local First Arizona and the Arizona State University School of Sustainability, Amici reaffirms its mission to sustainability efforts and local sourcing. In 2017, the City of Phoenix recognized Amici Catering as the city’s 8th ‘Green Business Leader’.
2019: We're In The Movies
The company's first movie credit hits the big screen! Amici rolls out another division specializing in Catering & Craft Services for TV, movie and commercial shoots in Arizona. This expansion creates new markets for the team in Sedona & Flagstaff.
2022: We join the "Great 48" List
In Spring 2021, Phoenix magazine began soliciting subscribers and social media followers to nominate Valley businesses who were “moving the chains, making a difference or otherwise crushing it” in the realms of business, sports, the arts, culinary, philanthropy, politics, et al. Amici Catering became one of the "Great 48" recipients.
2024: A New Cook in the Kitchen
CIA graduate Asia Maestas returns to the Amici culinary team to share her amazing talents in baking and creative food ideas. Asia originally started as an intern with us in 2018, and has continued to be a source of delicious inspiration to the team.
